I have Chrohn’s Disease, which is a severe disorder
of the stomach and bowel which includes severe
diarrhea and stomach cramping that rendered me
disabled. My social and working life had to be
planned or re-organized daily depending on how I
felt each day. Serious attempts at diet change failed
to help in any way. I tried including or excluding
root vegetables, greens, roughage, starch, alcohol and
common beverages. Time passed with 2 operations
and changes of medication, while they all seemed to
help for short times, in the long run, they didn’t help.

I have suffered from Chrohn’s Disease for most of my
life. After two operations, I was offered early retirement
from my job which I took. I was underweight and
still recovering from the last operation. I thought I
would easily get a new job but at the age of 50 with
