I am a professional athletics coach working with
international track and field athletes. I lead a very
hectic lifestyle and often used to eat at least one fast
food every day. I have many old injuries from the
days when I was an athlete myself, so there is always
an excuse for not exercising, despite spending several
hours every day coaching on a track or in a gym. I
was in charge of a team traveling to Turkey. I had
to renew my passport and when my new passport
arrived in the mail, I could not believe the face in
the picture was me. When I weighted myself I was
shocked to see how much weight I had gained. I had
never been on a diet in my life, but I thought this must
be the time to start one. By complete coincidence, I
met a great athlete whom I used to coach, who was
a distributor with FLP. She told me all about the
products, especially Clean 9. I read the booklets and
pretended that I was interested. The literature surprised
me because it matched the leading edge information
that I used to help my athletes control their weight.
Control your calorie intake based on your body size
and shape and your activity levels, eat regular small
meals; take a broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals
and micro-nutrient, have a balanced intake of carbs,
proteins and fat, drink plenty of water, take regular
low intensity exercise if you need to burn off fat.
Clean 9 is a sensible diet with quality supplements. I
had no excuse not to try it. I expected the 9-day Clean
9 program to be absolute hell, so my plan was to have
my family and friends shame me into not cheating. I
set a date to get started. I have milk intolerance so I
substituted soy milk in the Forever Lite. The first few
days of Clean 9 are very low calorie, so I was grateful
for the prescribed 20 minute walk each morning to
take my mind off bacon sandwiches. I would like
to say that the 9 days were a nightmare and I was
a complete hero to get through them but in fact it
was very easy to stick to the program. I lost about
9 pounds and 2 ½ inches off my waist. People were
already commenting that I looked better and asking
how I’d done it. So now I am glad that the passport
photo I had taken in January was so awful and that
my friend persuaded me to try the Clean 9!
